Brush multiple times a day to minimize the risk of cavities. The best oral hygiene consists of brushing your teeth before and after you go to bed and also after each time you eat. If you're unable to brush after you've eaten, pop in a piece of sugarless gum. This will keep your breath fresh and your teeth clean.
Make sure to regularly brush your teeth. At a minimum, you should be brushing twice daily, and after every meal is recommended. Take at least three minutes, carefully brushing the surface of each tooth. Use a toothpaste that has fluoride and avoid brushing too hard. Floss your teeth after brushing them.
